A Night on the Streets
As the nights get colder, the rain heavier, and the wind stronger, I turn up my heater and snuggle under the many layers of blankets on my queen-sized bed. I enjoy several warm meals a day, and I have no concern for tomorrow.
For the many experiencing homelessness, they bear the hardships from the lack of what you and I take for granted.
On the 10th of August, I will be sleeping one night on the streets of Adelaide. This is to raise some funds for homeless support, create awareness, and to gain a better perspective of those without the basics.
Please support if you can. All funds go to Hutt St Centre, who have been supporting people by providing a hearty meal, a hot shower, and a way forward - all in a safe, welcoming space.
